    Pacquiao is a star.

Golovkin is closer to likes of porter and thurman than he is to Floyd and Pac.

Nothing about Thurman or Porter screams out anything

Broner lost to Porter but has more star potential than him.

      You understand what I'm saying

All Manny had to do was flash that smile and the people fell in love with him.

Thurman and Porter bring nothing to the table

      People's champ nor villian.

thurman's already a star! he's pbc fighter of the year! even though porter himself and several others clearly had better years, that didn't fit into the pbc narrative so they just gave it to thurman in order to hype him up more. what did you expect from the pbc?

lol Broner is already well on his way to being irrelevant, no matter how much he trash talks.

And no, Pacquiao didn't become a star just for smiling. He gave people great matches while also being very humble. He didn't have to do the crap Floyd or Broner does, and neither does Golovkin (who, yes, is a star) or Thurman or Porter.

We Are Going To Find Out Thurman Is More Hype Than Future Star

Remember you heard it here first. His biggest moment was a war with Guerrero who stood in front of him to trade. He's not fought the best talent at 147. If he ever steps up to fight Porter, Shawn will wear Thurman out, without question. He can't beat Brook either. The real problem Thurman has is Al Haymon. Pimp Al hoards all these name fighters, seeking the most money, least amount of risk (the Floyd model). He's not going to risk Garcia, nor Thurman, nor any of his other marquee 'names' unless he can pair on with a 'name' on the downslide of a career. It's too bad cause I'd love to see Thurman go to war with Porter, Brook, Bradley, Provodnikov, Spence, Cotto, Canelo at some point, but Haymon will never take those chances. We're seeing that pimp manage Danny Garcia the same way. Mark your calendar, he'll wait until he can find a shot 'name' finished, then allow a Spence to add a fading name to his resume (the Floyd model).

The welterweight division is certainly up for grabs. But, with Pacquiao still being somewhat of an active fighter. And most expecting to to eventually fight again. Its gonna be really tough to get these top welters in the ring with one another. Just the thought of a Floyd or Manny payday is enough to make a guy scared to lose.

You sound like you got something against Thurman. What makes you think he can't beat Porter or Brook?
