Comments Thread For: Lemieux's Return Eyed For March, Against A/A+ Opponent

The last we saw of former IBF middleweight belt-holder David Lemieux, he was getting stopped in eight rounds by Gennady Golovkin at the Madison Square Garden on the night of October 17th. Lemieux now looks to rebound from that loss and get back into title contention.

A 'C' class brawler looking for an 'A' class opponent?

Lil G could get some pointers from this guy.

        Comeback Fight

David Lemieux fought by far the best Middleweight in the world, and he was just simply outgunned. But this guy is still young, is marketable so there's still appeal to him. However he needs to continue to develop his boxing skills. We know he can has the power that's a god given ability. But he has to focus on the other parts of his skills to become a complete fighter. Not just a knockout artist.

Fan Friendly Fights would be against guys like Curtis Stevens, or Andy Lee

Fights that will get him back up the rankings Billy Jo, Chris Eubank Jr., or Tureano Johnson.

He has a lot of support still and can still be put in good fights.

Mad respect for Lemieux, took on the best middleweight in the world just after winning a world title, Saunders and Canelo could learn a thing or two from him. Hope he comes back strong and had a good career he is still very young so can still win another world title.
