Wilder is another good choice. He fought some guy named Dahupas or something right? No one was asking for that fight, however I do think it was more of a stay busy fight.

Wasn't really a stay busy fight. His previous title defense against Eric Molina should attest to that.

he didn't forget pacquiao......the emotional hater in him discredited the fight though.

LOL. Let me help you with this internet forum thing; you seem to be struggling. Your award doesn't actually exist,it's just a bit fun; a fantasy, your not the chairman of the committee, there is no committee, you're just the OP.

You asked for some opinions and you received them, that's how these internet forums things work. However, I apologize if mentioning Floyd shook your equilibrium, that wasn't my intention, but do try to lighten up it's the season of giving and I've already given you the Cherry Picker of the Year.

            Back to the topic.
The fact that it was his last fight is irrelevant. In professional sports when a player makes there final official appearance they face proper competition.

The number one cherry picker will always be the fighter with the most options at hand, who despite those options chooses the path of least resistance. A prerequisite to cherry picking is turning down credible opposition.

            FMJ went through :

            Competition:
            Lara,Thurman,Garcia,GGG,Khan,Brook,Porter,Bradley, Canelo, Andrade

            Daylight

            Weak Competition:
            Matthyse,Peterson, Vanes Martirosyan

            Daylight

            Michigan Cherry Festival
            Andre Berto and Karim Mayfield

The skill/achievement differential determines the magnitude of the cherry pick. Whats the skill/achievement differential between one time champ Wilder and Duhaupas (32-1, sole loss to undefeated Teper by UD) or one time champ Brook and Gavin (22-1, World AM champion) compared to the greatest fighter of the modern era and Andre Berto (29-3, best win UD Luis Collazo, 3-3 in last 6). In others words the levels between FMJ and Berto are gargantuan and they absolutely dwarfed those of any single match up in 2015, you have to go back to Garcia Salka to find that kind of mis-match making.

Wilder fought Stiverne this year so no, I wouldn't include him although the rest were softies.

Brook is a good mention. So is Loma who had a very disappointing year.
