Comments Thread For: Broner on Facing Pacquiao: I Love Fighting Southpaws!

According to WBA junior welterweight champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner (32-2, 23 KOs), he was contacted by Michael Koncz, the adviser for Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs), to discuss the possibility of a fight in early 2016.

Like I said in the other thread this fight makes sense. Broner has a punchers chance and not much else. He is a name that isn't a threat and he will hype and sell the PPV.

If Broner pulls the upset oh man NSB is going to be unbearable for days!!

This makes perfect sense! Manny can still fight a 140lb. champion, most likely @ 144, and Broner has a bigger name than Crawford. Add to that, if he beats up "Lil' Floyd," maybe he gets another shot at Mayweather. I'd pay $60 to see Pacquiao vs. Broner! Make it happen!

Haha team Pacquiao is just getting revenge on Floyd for all the times he interfered with their plans. Now Broner will hold off signing to fight Floyd's fighter Theopan I think it is. I admit though Pac vs Broner is better than Bradley or Crawfird

Broner is much more flat-footed than Mayweather, Khan or Crawford, which makes him, tailor-made for Manny!

Not very interested in this fight, But i understand Pac's team for the interest. Pacquiao will claim his success against Broner compared to Mayweather was because he was 100%, sadly Maidana has proven success against AB does not translate to the same against Mayweather.

Also this is all or nothing for Pac cause if he loses it kills any interest there may have been for May/Pac II.

Yes, he is the best option of those choices and I think Broner will sell a Manny fight better than a 3rd Bradley fight.
