Golovkin showed how much his accuracy is a factor vs Lemiuex. Unlike Rubio and Gaele didn't break mentally, but the bullseye liver shots and jabs still broke him physically.
Foreman wasnt due to accuracy lol, you ever see him hit the heavy bag?

No but I've seen him fight and as crude as his style was he timed and angled shots well.

When he couldn't, when someone neutralized his accuracy and timing, he looked harmless. That made all the difference.

You don't stop a fight by punching someone really hard in the arms/chest no matter how strong you are. You have to turn their head in such a way that they can't tell up from down or nail the liver or another specific target.

I guess if you have a knack for that you can call it genetic. But it's not purely a matter of power. More timing.

Corrie Sanders was big boned too and he played pro Rugby. He knocked the **** out of Klitchko jr.
Nah this is just your theory to explain slow heavy hitters, its something you felt was true rather than something you thought clearly about.

Im sure bone density helps, but overall mass makes bone density pretty insignificant, same with big hands sure its better to have big hands probably but overall mass dwarfs the mass of a big pair of hands.

You get big boned guys that hit hard and weak, and thin boned guys that hit hard and weak, - no correlation or weak correlation.

Genetics can play a factor. Chavez Jr does have his Fathers Chin and Stamina

Then you look at Julian Jackson sons, both have his Power but they also have his chin so yeah Genetics is a factor

Really omg? Who are Julians sons id love to watch them fight! checking wiki now.

            Great observation!

Maybe they got taught by their dad tho the superior technique and the inferior defense, but it certainly looks like a point in favor of genetics.

Is it me or does Julian jacksons son has beautiful perfect kinetic linking and his opponent has shoddy kinetic linking, what would happen if it switched around the other way who would be known as the powerful puncher then?

Genetics is also to blame for your body shape, leverage etc and that definitely dictates punching power. That just leaves technique which makes up the smaller percentage but a) it's something that can always be improved b) a good amount of it is paramount to punching power, you don't need a lot. You get fighters with poor technique that can **** but they need at least some.
What about Floyd he has skills and has been using them steroids since the Delahoya fight but he can't knock out any Welter weights out unless it's a sucker punch
