  • Maidana:"i haven't said goodbye but i'm almost there" - Video

"i'm not retired yet, but i'm almost there. i rather not to say it at the moment. i'm good economically. i'm trying to enjoy my life, like everyone else, a regular guy. i can spend time with my family now. boxing needs new figures, a lot of young people have hooked up with boxing lately, so i wanna open a gym to help them out.

if i don't fight again, god bless you."

I think hes comeback will be horrible, I a huge fan of el chino but thats just the way I see it and let me explain.

He has been out for awhile now and not just out fight wise but completely out of the gym and he let himself get fat as hell and weight loss (dramtic weigth loss 30lbs+) messes with your punch resistant and Maidana was struggling to make 147 more times than not already so he will be draining himself more than ever this time around and if he does go to 154 gonna be the miguel cotto effect (he just too small to keep those dudes honest). Then on top of all that he will be coming back with a new trainer, his team mates (Argentinians) have all burnt bridges with Robert Garcia and every single one of them left (including his brother who turned pro under Robert Garcia who Maidana sent to Robert) so I highly doubt Chino will come back to Robert while all his team mates (who he calls #TEAM MAIDANA) and Robert have beef.

So hes coming back with a stack against him already. But will be interesting thats for sure, hope to see him put danny out before he goes.

He should stay retired. Pushed the best fighter to the limit and lost. The rematch was a bit of a joke though but **** it.... If he comes back vs somebody live, he might get put out due to lack of hunger.

                  Hes one fat ****

154 is wide open for him, or unless he could still make the weight, rematches with Khan and Broner should make him good money.

                    WAR Maidana!!!!

                    He isn't done yet, it's a front.

Look for Maidana to come back off of diuretics and take out Garcia, Thurman, Porter, and lose a split decision to Bradley, then stop Khan in a rematch PPV mega event before moving up and stopping Canelo then facing GGG in a unification bout and Fight Of The Century candidate barn burner type war, before retiring into the sunset.
