The rounds were relatively close, but Walters won that fight. I had it 7-3.

I do believe he's overrated though, his main attribute is having a size advantage.

I hope Walters just goes straight to Uchiyama because I have no interest in a seeing a rematch.
Same, I'm not interested in another tune up for Walters or another ****ty defence for Uchiyama. Have the two go at it.

Hopefully he stops fighting like a complacent bit(h then....he had advantages in every way and still didn't press for a stoppage

          i had it 9-1 walters.

judges can get fooled on activity and dont value body punching as much as they should.

The score was sht but so was Walters. The last two fighters he fought where his size and he looked ordinary. I doubt that he could make 126 and if he does he won't look good come fight time. If I was Lomas team I would make the fight happen, it's a winnable fight

Horrendous decision. Walters totally outclassed this guy. I give Sosa credit for being game but he was taken to school the entire fight. Walters put on a boxing clinic. Definitely the worst decision this year along with Jean Pascal vs Yunieski Gonzalez.

That was a clear victory for Walters. I myself had it nearly a shut out. I saw Walters doing very good work in the inside, his defense was on point, those body shots he delivered were brutal, and he just had the better and more solid clean punches. He looked real conformable in there,at the same time taking big hits from a bigger 130 pounder. He dictated the pace just about the whole fight. Ofcourse he got hit a few times. Sosa was a live dog, and I think he could be a problem for alot of people around that divison, but he was totally out classed in my eyes. Overall it was a good fight, I guess Sosa made it seem closer than what it was with his activity, but his connect rate was low. Walters won that hands down.

That said, I thought Walters comfortably won the fight through his superior boxing and cleaner punches. I scored it 7-3 for Walters and I could easily see 6-4 but the draw on the two judges scorecards and the 96-94 card was very surprising.
Sosa may have been the aggressor, but his accuracy was crapola. What was it, like 20% Sosa vs 50% Walters connect percentage? Do some research on fights where there was that kind of connects. You'd find rarely ever does that fighter lose. And Walter's defense was great, effortlessly slipping punches like a champ. Just because Sosa was throwing many more punches doesn't mean he deserved anything more than a good payday and exposure next time. Also, I'm thinking Walters will improve next fight, while Sosa will do no better, judging by his style. Walters does need to go back down a division to be dominant though.
