Ward came out and said he would take 3 fights before fighting Kovalev why? Because he is the man at the division and you don't go to a man house without preparing yourself. That I can live with, because he isn't trying to be all cute and warriors about it, GGG in the same breathe did the opposite, and this is a boxer who is finding opponents hard to come by too.

So for his fans or anyone to call another boxer a coward when GGG is doing the same thing makes them look dumb.

It sounds like the same exact scenario for GGG. He never fought at 168 and when Ward called him out for being a coward it was because Ward was already the best at 168 the same way Kovalev is the best at 175. Golovkin's team has always been honest about making big fights for the publicity with Chavez and Foch. Also, I find it hard to believe that Ward fights at a catchweight for his first fight back and then is serious about fighting a dangerous fighter like Golovkin at 168. It's because he knew that fight would never happen and people like you wouldn't criticize him but pile on the GGG hate train.
