He didn't look good in his last fight either.I haven't seen the fight yet but when I saw Walters vs Marriaga, my first thought was that if Walters didn't have a ridiculous size advantage that Marriaga would have done damage. I'm not sold on him as a top fighter yet, just a big fighter.

exactly walters another overated colored fighter. when he fights some one his size that can punch he gets beat. he looks 2-3 classes bigger then the guys he fights

Why are people acting like Sosa didn't do a lot of clean work? The HBO team made it sound like dude wasn't landing anything.

I won't have the time to go look at it again but with HBO footage it really helps to review close fights with the volume turned down or off.

That said, Sosa landed some clean work but Walters blocked way more than actually landed. Sosa was hardly blocking any incoming.

Sosa is one mean tough guy. Credit to Walters that he trained for a war and didn't underestimate Sosa.

This fight should have been scored 97-93 to Walters or maybe 96-94 to him. No way that Sosa got it and a draw is not creditable either.

I thought Walters did enough to win the fight, but meh, whatever. Sosa's had 3 draws prior to this. Doesn't seem like this guy's skill rises very much beyond his level of opposition. I thought Walters was going to do a little better than he did though, he took some leather to the head in that one....

If Walters wasn't so featherfisted, he wouldn't have left it in the hands of the judges to begin with.

He barely even stunned that guy.



He was robbed though but looks like his power isn't really carrying up after Marriaga then this guy.

It was like the judges were on some You know what, for tonight's fight, body shots don't count type of shit.

Walters also landed the more meaningful shots upstairs as well, but who gives a fuck, right?

Seems to me that some on here are more experts on scoring commentating teams than scoring actual fights.

That's all I'm seeing from people trying to put it in their heads that Sosa deserved a draw or won.

People are getting to the point that just to spite a commentating team, clear cut robberies are fucking rational.

But you do seem more bothered by HBO's commentary, which bears no effect on the actual result, than the official judges scorecards, which do.
