idgaf wat nobody says walters did that to himself..he got hit way to much and he looked effected by shots his head was everywhere and his jab was nowhere..he is much better but when u show the judges one style all night while getting hit..hey..i had it close and quit scoring bc i knew it was too tough to score..hbo tried to suck him to a win...but with that beign said one of my fave fighters lomo ducked him..f the excuses it was a duck and bs by tR once again

It seems like the judges are actually at a disadvantage sitting at ringside.

They should look into having where the judges sit. An elevated position would be good.

Sosa was shockingly good but Walters won at least, bare minimum, 7 rounds and probably 8 or 9 rounds.

Lol wtf were those judges watching. Absolutely terrible. Walters was in control most of the fight. His defense was on point and landed the best shots. Do t get me wrong, Sosa was a game dude and put up a gr8 effort but those scores were ridiculous.Boxing is such a mysterious sport..it was a very good fight none the less.

Not really. There is no centralized regulation which means that the status quo prevails and no necessary changes are made. Judges need to be trained to a world standard and giving them a better view would be an elementary but easy change to make.

Honestly can't sit here and see how somebody could watch that fight, and have Sosa possibly winning.

He gave a great account for himself, but 3 rounds at the most. I gave him the 2nd and the 9th.

I have to agree. The commentators were hanging on Walters gonads, but Sosa was fighting back. It's like they pick a favorite and ooh and awe everything he does. Sosa didn't land as hard, but he did land and they ignored most of his work. I thought Walters won, but he didn't win by the landslide the commentators gave him.

Lets stop with this trying to defend this decision and saying what Walters did not do enough of. Walters won that damn fight and anybody that is trying to debate that needs to just stop watching boxing all together because you're SUPER ******!

I think this is full Politics or something, it is something more to this story and it will come out. I don't know if Walters is Free Agent after this fight or something who knows but something just doesn't see right with this Decision it seems extremely corrupt

Walters made the commitment early to go to Sosa body to take some of the starch out his punches for the late rounds. Walters easily won that fight all 3 judges should be fired

Walters 7-3 in my eyes , Walters don't need this rematch he need to get another fight in early something in the next 2 months so he can get to Takashi Uchiyama by the summer

Another judging atrocity, add it to the list. This is one of the biggest flaws in the sport, and a big reason why boxing hasn't gotten as much mainstream support as it should have.

Undoubtedly a shame, I feel bad for Walters... He landed something like 100+ more shots and landed at 45% accuracy compared to 19% or something.

9-1 or maybe 8-2 fight gets declared a draw by 3 blind and/or paid-off mice. Geez, only in boxing I guess. SMH

High note though it was good to see Walters back, and a good action fight from both fighters. Walters though may need to head back south to be more dominant.
