I did expect more, was hoping for something like Lee v McEwan - there was way more contact in that fight.

But pretty much I subscribed to the idea that if Saunders was still awake at the end of the fight, he'd probably be up on points. He'd finish where McEwan didn't. He got an early lead and fought to protect it...thought he'd end up having to work more to get the decision. Not very ambitious

Both are ****e that's why....Lee has no defensive reflexes, no hand feet coordination. He is tall/long with long arms and that helped him stay in the fight on the outside because BJS is a guy who likes to box from the outside. Both were southpaws and that pretty much neutralised the power of Lee's right hand. BJS has more atheltisism and when he could slip a punch and get inside while Lee had his arms out and slow coming back, BJS could nail him with a good shot here and there. Mentally BJS is a coward and that's why he wouldn't risk doing it consistently, and his stamina is ****.

I am not angry at him but he should have gone for broke more. Getting nearly KOed made him gun shy which is understandable.

If I'd have bought a ticket, or a PPV, I'd be mad. But it's just a boring fight where the guy I was rooting for lost. It's not the end of the world.

You never know what's going to happen when 2 guys get in the ring, that's why we watch. Sadly, sometimes what happens is a boring ass fight.

Two southpaw fighters often stylistically looks bad.

It was cautious but I enjoy watching BJS because he is so skilled.

A lot of what he does movement wise gets unnoticed, he has great timing and hand speed as well as a slick defence.

Fury vs Klitschko was a terrible fight for watching but this was just a lot more technical and cautious.

im starting to think contenders and undercards almost always show better fights 'cause theyre not afraid to give it their all with risks involved. and most of all, THEY WANT IT, AND THEY WANT IT BAD.
