... he seems able to easily switch to boxing from the distance -- in case he doesn't feel comfortable... the guy looked quite calculated to me...

Barthelemy might get taken out by a big puncher but at the moment the lightweight division is wide open, it's not at all clear who is number one in the division.
he can move for 12 round and get respect of most men bc most dont have the a heart of shaf..shaf would have been stopped if this thing stayed a at adistance likely...rances knew he could take the shots and he was right unlike some that grow to feel that way..he didnt stay inside with demarco at all so i dont see him trying to be that guy who does this with even sized or bigger fighters..

Talented, yes. Talented like Rigo? I don't think so. We're talking about one of the greatest talents in boxing. But I'll watch Rances fight any day. Rigo is only fun to watch when he feels like it, which is hardly ever. Barthélemy has grown on me quickly, with his willingness to go to war. I'm hoping he can rise to the very top of 135. He might have 140 or even 147 in his future.

... maybe he keeps in mind that boring "blueprints" of Rigo and Lara!... Who knows?

... Floyd easily understands this shit, doe! Floyd just imagined himself in the same ring with Barthélemy, perhaps...

it was not a gift it was him landing the cleaner harders shots and keeping the work rate winning the early and late rounds..
