who is Verdejo biggest threat at 135lbs

I really don't see competition for Felix Verdejo at 135 lbs in the next couple of years other than Jorge Linares....I would love to see Verdejo become unified champion at 135 & whoop Salido a$$ before moving up to 140...

Zlaticanin, Linares and Rances all have a pretty good shot at beating him. I don't think he'd be the favourite in any of those fights

Hell even Flanagan might have a chance, he hasn't looked that bad in his fights, though the quality of opposition isn't great

Sometimes he over commits to a punch and a guy with so much balance he goes way out of position. He needs a few fights more in a progressive way so he can relax a bit and make the fight the way he wants it instead of trying to push through.

He still does the rookie mistake that when he gets hit he tries to retaliate right away.

Linares seems like he gets easily hurt. I think verdejo is accurate enough to hurt him but the others do beat him (verdejo)
