I don't care much for either fighter, but I think Chris Byrd is ****ed on the 22nd. He's gonna take a prolonged beating against Wladimir, and its gonna be really painful to watch. Unlike in the first fight where Byrd was a younger fighter, hes gotten really old since then. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the corner stops the fight. Byrd is too old and his reflexes have really slowed, his father won't allow him to take too many punches. Klitschko TKO9.

Chris Byrd will never get the respect that he really deserves from the boxing world, he should be fine with it though. Because he knows that he is one of the most skilled boxers out there. I have nothing but love for the guy and what he has accomplished.

I fought his brother Patrick at an ABF tourny and watched Chris walk through his division at Middleweight I believe. A little while later I hear hes turned pro and then that he had moved up to heavyweight. I thought that he was crazy for doing so. I saw him fight a couple of times and was so impressed with his ability to make the big guys look like clowns. I sat at a judges table with a boxing writer and watched him just play with Aldolpho Washington. While Washington is not one of the greatest fighters out there, the moves that Chris pulled on him was extremely impressive.

He is fighting only the upper crust fo the heavies now and no fight will be easy for him. But I believe in his skills and moreso in him, knowing of the great boxing familie that he comes from. I fully support Chris Byrd in his journey and hope for only the best for him. Chris Byrd is the kind of Heavyweight champion that we should have. One that is a gentleman and one with class.

Chris Byrd is a ****ing piece of ****ing trash...

It is an act of god or allah or muhammad or some ****ing divine **** that he has been able to keep his title for 4 ****ing years...**** you can almost make the ****ing case he hasnt won a fight in almost four ****ing years.

Byrd is trash but he is also proof that religion is real, how else do you explain all of the ****ing gifts!

Im not overstating any of this **** about Byrd-if anything I have grossly understated things.

Remember friends Byrd is trash and guaranteed poison to an already dieing HW division.

            **** Chris Byrd!

                Rockin,

He was one of the most skilled fighters out there many many years ago...he is not the same Chris Byrd that fought Ike or Tua...

I give him some credit for being a damn fine pugilist-anyone who doesnt is an idiot but his time has passed and he has been absolutely awful fight after fight during his title reign.

He was a very fine fighter...that time has passed and that just cant be debated!
