Yes, and he brings it for a reason. The reason is that boxing is a dangerous sport, and referee must take care of fighters health. If referee and team don't take care then there can be such sad cases as with Simakov.

Again, it's a lie, Kovalev has never spoken or meant this.

How can this be the truth if it was a Kovalev who saved Pascal from further beating (he pointed the referee on Paskal shaking legs)? Why would Kovaled do it if he wanted to hurt Pascal or even kill him?
Jesus Christ dude. Read the articles and see the videos before you post pls.

"I didn't finish my job and my goal in the last fight because the referee saved his health. The ref saved him. People can die from one punch or from taking a lot of shots and losing a lot of blood. Accumulating punches can destroy the brain," Kovalev stated.
One of the central themes of the January 30th rematch between WBA/IBF/WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev and former champion Jean Pascal is that Pascal had some early success in the fight and that he was stopped on his feet. Pascal still believes that the fight was stopped prematurely. Kovalev on the other hand thinks the Haitian-Canadian should thank the referee for letting him survive to fight another day.

He is openly saying his goal was to kill Pascal and the only reason he was unable to do his job is because the ref got in the way. FFS he says it in a video that was posted here a few weeks ago. He wants to kill Pascal. We get it.

It might actually ****e up the sport with lots of PR if the he is able to accomplish this before the ref stops him from his goal of killing Pascal for our entertainment.

Man, you have a serious problems with logic.
By "finish his job" Kovalev means knocking out. Of course no killing. A person must be totally ******ed to understand it that way.

Even if he said it was his goal to kill him, he obviously said that to sell the fight, don't know why trash talk gets so much attention.

Learn to read. He said he didn't accomplish his goal because the ref saved his health. Meaning his goal is to destroy the health of Pascal or kill him. Very simple.

He says it right there. With enough punishment you can kill a man. And that is what he is trying to do with Pascal. Like he said.

You are the only one struggles to understand such simple things.

He said it after Pascal called him a racist, ignorant POS. He really went after Kovalev hard and really embarrassed him.

Pascal can really get under peoples skin and it was easy to do that to Kovalev. Once Pascal started insulting and humiliating Kova so much while Kova could not comeback due to no ammo and bad english, this is when Kovas bloodlust and fury came out.

This is when Kovalev started all this talk about beating Pascal to death in the ring and reminding people he has already beat a black man to death in the ring. And by cheerfully remembering beating a black man to death he also reminds us he is proud of killing this man and is not one bit sorry.

And now Pascal is next on his hitlist. The thing is, tons of boxers are killers and thugs. Well some of them. Kovalev is the first one who has the ability to kill in the ring and is proud of it. Most boxers show sadness, but he is not only proud he would like to kill another black man.

Wow! It's really hard to make your brain work.
Why did Kovalev point the referee attention to the shaking legs of Pascal if he wanted to kill Pascal? It was Kovalev who saved Pascal's health, simple as that. When you will understand that probably you will stop aying such nonscence.

For people who don't know about the context of the words some of the boxingscene articles are accomplished with explanations. Unfortinately, this article didn't provide the missing words in square brackets, and then all the poor-brained started to shout about killing. This is how it must be printed:
"I didn't finish my job and my goal [of knocking him out] in the last fight because the referee [stopped the fight and] saved his health. IT WAS THE RIGHT STOPPAGE."
How the hell you can see the intention to kill when he says it was the right stoppage!
