Lucas fell from grace so hard ever since his loss to Garcia. You got Molina knocking the guy down hard a few times, then you got Postol destroying him. Garcia ruined Matthysse.

Thurman does the same to Porter, he will ruin him. Everybody who is like "Keith "One Duck" Runman" or whatever crap name they came up for him now are going to eat their words when Thurman schools sloppy Porter worse than Brook did.

I remember when it was thought that Garcia was ducking Lucas. Clearly he wasn't ducking him. He was a good champion back then be he has been a cherry picker for a few years now. Thurman already smashed Guerrero and Guerrero is not that good any more. I don't know if Thurman is avoid in Porter but he sure is taking his sweat time saying yes and finalizing the fight. I think Porter vs Thurman is about a dead even fight. Porter seems to take punishment better than Thurman and seems to have more heart. Thurman has better overall skills and speed and possibly punches a little harder. They are both very good top 5 welterweights in my opinion.

Postol accepted a step aside so Danny could fight Peterson, a fight everybody wanted rather seen than Danny v. Postol. That was when Danny was holding onto the belt but fighting above the limit transitioning to WW. I don't understand why he was paying step aside fees for a belt in a weight class he didn't plan on fighting in again. But after Postol beat Matthysse revisionist history kicked and and people started saying he ducked Postol.

Actually people were saying Garcia was ''ducking'' Postol when Postol had beaten Selcuk Aydin. Long before Garcia vs Peterson or Matthysse in the picture.

Just cause he won the eventual bout doesn't mean he wasn't ducking. There's no correlation between the two results.
