Maybe Manny is finally tired of Arum. Who said Manny was scared of needles? Arum. Who said they needed an outdoor stadium? Arum. Who said there were contracts waiting for Floyd to sign? Arum. If you notice the post-fight interview, the one conducted by Kellerman in the ring, Manny never mentions his injured shoulder. Then at the post-fight press conference, suddenly Manny is in a sling with an injured shoulder, which he supposedly initially injured in 2009. I wonder who decided to tell the press about the shoulder? Arum!

Vision is 20/20 in hindsight. Not everyone can be FMJ and go independent and keep most of the pot in his fights. If it wasn't Bob stealing from Pac, it would've been somebody else. At least Top Rank put him on the world stage and created that whirlwind fighter that captivated the world. Dude spoke almost ZERO English and now he is making Footlocker commercials...what a Cinderella story. My point being, you can't blame Manny for hooking up with Top Rank, even the when the re-up was signed.
That being said, now that Manny has a little nest egg and is at the end of his career, he probably has more of a voice to challenge Top Rank. Bob ain't liking that one bit!
No one can go back in time and change who he signs with. The Manny Pacquiao story will be hard to match. Bob Arum and Top Rank is a big part of that story...so is frickin' Alex Ariza???Comment

These delaying tactics and having potential opponents queuing up are ridiculous and some fighters are making a career of it like Amir Khan .Wouldn't it be better if these 'fighters' just got on with their careers and forced these prima donna super stars to fight them instead of waiting around for the scraps and wasting their careers.Comment

Yeah as much as Bob is a businessman first and foremost with absolutely no loyalty to anyone but his bank account, he did help make Pac rich. The lil' Filipino had nothing but hellfire in his left hand and that was about it! Buboy is no businessman and the rest of the knuckleheads in his entourage in the beginning were all riding coat tails for something to eat.

I actually agree with you, but I just want to remind you of one thing......
When Mayweather delays his opponent selection, it is because he is scared.
Remember ?
You can only blame Arum for so much.
Pacquiao happily boarded the Pac-train, and he happily played along with EVERYTHING...... EVERYTHING, without question.
When an incorrect/inaccurate statement is issued by representation from Mayweather/Ward/Bradley/etc..... those guys ALL go on record and correct it immediately.
They have all done it.
Manny just happily plays along, and has lied to the fans on numerous occasions.Comment
