Monroe is suffering because certain fans discredit his boxing ability, calling him a bum just to discredit another fighter, when he clearly isn't.

Why would a promoter want to put their fighter against someone who is considered a bum by the fight fan, but in reality has a very good chance of beating their fighter.

The difference is the golovkin event had accountability. Haymon is basically pillaging a mutual fund to overpay guys or duping showtime into doing so. Those events aren't making any money, so for Monroe to act like that's how it should be, is idiotic.

I think I saw this article over a month ago.

I think Willie is a good fighter. I think he can beat a lot of the middleweight contenders..I actually think he would outpoint quillin without much issue. But I do not feel bad for him.

He went on a long rant sucking off Haymon but is too dumb to acknowledge that Haymon is the exact reason that he is having trouble getting a fight on tv. Haymon has all of the dates and wants to put other promoters (like willie's) out of business.

Also, he got destroyed by GGG, who could have finished him in the second round. And then he quit in the 6th round. But then he brags about his performance in that fight LOL.

Bingo. Haymon's made it so unless you're signed with him or with a promoter under HBO, there are no more opportunities. That ****ing hedge fund money can't dry up fast enough.

You don't want to believe it because you're one of the those nonsensical fans. Who said anything about his promoter putting him in fights. In sure they have offered him fights but their not against the type of comp that'll bring in big money. I'm sure his managers and promoter are offering fights but he doesn't want to fight for 30,000 against someone nobody knows after fighting the best MW in the world.

And the guys that would bring in good money aren't going to risk their position against a guy fans consider bums. Johnson isn't going to risk his IBF shot fighting Monroe. Steven isn't going to risk back to back loses against a "bum"

If you think fan opinions don't have an effect on fights than you're a lost cause.
