I think the trainer-fighter relationship Tim has with Atlas is more traditional than what he had with Diaz. He seems to take direction better under Atlas. I remember early in the fight against Rios, Atlas cautioned Tim about "getting too greedy", i.e. staying in the pocket too long with 3 or 4 punch combos. Sure enough, from the next round, he stuck to the one-two, then turned Rios or stepped out completely.

As far Tim getting the KO after the Fireman pep talk, Rios was already done by then.

Manny is at 75% of his peak, relatively unmotivated. Tim by a competitive UD the third time.

They say he never trained Tyson, but accompanied him to a tournament, and that video was made of Tyson crying with him, and he's been living off that B.S. ever since.
The guy has done alot for the sport. And got Bradley a KO of a prev un-stopped fighter. What have you done but complain?

I'd rather see Brook, Thurman, or Garcia in there w/Manny for his swansong. Bradley is just a garbage fight far as I'm concerned.

atlas is a dramatic person. the world of boxing know that. but roach needs to tone it down because bradley buckled pacquiao and was actually winning in their rematch until bradley got the attitude that he wanted to ko pacquiao. and it went down hill from there.
