  • Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury is Being Misunderstood, Says Trainer

Tyson Fury is not ****phobic, according to his trainer who likens the new heavyweight world champion to boxing legend and motormouth Muhammad Ali.

Peter Fury, the fighter's uncle and trainer, has written a column for Britain's Telegraph newspaper as controversy continues to dog the fighter ahead of this weekend's BBC Sports Personality Awards where the boxer is up for personality of the year.

Eh, personally I dig Fury on a regular guy level more than most boxers. I think he's one of the realest guys in the game today & is low profile on being a student of the game & knows more about HW's who are 2-0 or about to turn pro than most boxing nerds I bet & certainly more than his fellow elite level HW's. BUT he's definitely got a loose tongue & just sorta says **** sometimes that isn't a 5 word takeaway, but if you take those 5 words outta a paragraph of words it can seem like some effed up ****.

That tends to be the reality when you get on this stage in anything doe. You can say anything for years & than once you reach that higher level those same sorta things you said or did previously can get media websites hits or sell papers or what have you so they run with the slightest thing they think they can run with.

Who cares what people think. Like he said in the Klitschko press conference, I don't give a damn what people think. He's the real HW champ. Not some tomato can beater like Wilder. He beat the real champ Klitschko. Enough said.

The UK really sh its on him and makes his opinions a huge deal, which is sad. They should appreciate the fact they once again have a heavyweight champion and just beat a guy who hasn't lost in ten years.

He's a boxer for crying out loud. He gets paid to punch people and get punched in the head. Who gives a rat's ass if he doesn't hold some politically correct beliefs. He's not running for prime minister ffs. Enjoy him while he's here.

            Whatever.

I'm just embracing the fact that there's finally some charisma (love him or hate him) in the heavyweight division.

For ten year's we were bored to tears with Klitchsko, I welcome more colorful personalities at this point.

I'm thanking God that Fury is now at the top of the pile.

No more cheating opponents, no more spungy ring canvas or picking others gloves. No more leaning and grabbling 100 times a fight.

No more slave contracts, no more wrapping gloves without the opposition being present.

No more boring press conferences and no more scratching your eyes out.

              2fast2furious is here.

It surprised Fury that what he says and does becomes magnified multitude once you become champ, center of attention. He's on a learning curve.

Tyson Fury is a disgrace to the sport and he ****s all over the sport and makes it a big mockery people are thinking boxing is on par with WWE because of absolute **** like him.

You know every time someone mocks boxing and takes the piss out of this inbred, racist gypo well don't act upset about it he brings it on himself.
