  • Thoughts on Clottey vs Rosado this weekend?

Clottey is 38 years old now. Gabe Rosado is 29 years old coming off 4 fight losing streak in the ring.

If Rosado can get over his current slump and show his heart is still in the game he should be able to outwork Clottey to a decision victory. Clottey will be there to punch at.

Clottey has fought twice in the past two years, one against a no-hoper and Anthony Mundine who he put on the canvas several times en route to a decision victory.

I think this fight will come down to punch resistance and unfortunately Rosado has very little left. I think Clottey wins by TKO, either from cuts or knockdowns. Hope Im wrong for Rosados sake but hes a 29yo going on 50...

I like Rosado's chances here. I think Clottey is ripe for the taking. If Rosado is still able to take advantage of the ripeness is my biggest question. He's obviously had some hard fights, but tbh this feels like a step down from most of his recent fights except the Love fight (which many thought he shoulda won). Rooting for & picking Rosado here.

I can't remember if I scored the fight but I remember thinking Rosado pulled it off that night. Then Love got caught for drugs to make weight or something.. dumb ****.

They should of had a rematch, would of been better for both of them to grow.

              cold..

I think Rosado is a throwback fighter by taking on tough opposition but he just doesn't have "it" physically.

              Golovkin
              Quillin
              Charlo
              Lemieux

Tough last 4 of 5 fights to go through.

Should be a good fight. Two decent fighters going at. Rosado will come up short once again though. Maybe stopped on cuts.

If Rosado has anything left I think he'll beat Clottey by 3 pts.
