Andy Lee shows some nice accuracy, power and decent combination speed with some classic techniques utilized in this padwork session as he aims to overcome Billy Joe Saunders on the road to an eventual showdown with GGG.

I seen a video once of Andy Lee hitting a strike pad with right hook after right hook, it was very impressive. EXPLOSIVE power. But with that said, Lee is one of my favorites but if I were booth Id get Andy Lee to stand a bit taller, he hunches over to much and I think thats why he gets caught. A tall guy like Lee should be stepping back and countering. -
The combinations are ok but I don't like how Booth has him standing around so much doing nothing. Too much dead time in my opinion.Comment

would like to see him to throw power/stiff jabs..
and stand taller like poster ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ said.
waste of height/reach if he doesnt utilize it

I've noticed Booth's fighters like Haye and Groves also have a kind of hunched over/low stance. Maybe it's trying to generate more power because his fighters do seem to hit pretty hard.I seen a video once of Andy Lee hitting a strike pad with right hook after right hook, it was very impressive. On another note... Does anyone actually know Booth's background? I know he was never a boxer but does anyone know how he got into the game because i've never heard of any information about him prior to training Haye.Comment

That stance has saved Lee. He was ridiculously vulnerable to brawlers before he hooked up with Booth. Watch his fight with Anthony Fitzgerald on the undercard of Frampton-Kiko I back in 2013. Fitzgerald is a club fighter who got iced by Spike O'Sullivan in one round, and he was backing Lee into the corner and mauling him.
Since he hooked up with Booth that rear foot heavy stance has given Lee balance and the ability to wheel out of trouble. Doesn't take advantage of his height but it's kept his career alive.Comment

that hunched over stance is not a good style for lee and groves IMO..I've noticed Booth's fighters like Haye and Groves also have a kind of hunched over/low stance. Maybe it's trying to generate more power because his fighters do seem to hit pretty hard.
