  • If GGG-Canelo is close, Who Gets the Decision?

I see GGG actually topping Canelo late in the fight, but if Canelo were to hang on and if he had made it fairly close, I have to say that I think he gets the decision. He is younger, has the fan base and I think the Mexican crowd goes more for him than GGG since he is actually Mexican. Any thoughts?

Canelo gets the decision even if it's not that close. GGG wont be looking for decision win anyways, but his best chance in my opinion is if he does serious visible damage to Canelo but Canelo tends to hold up well

golovkin is going to have to win at least 8 clear rounds and preferably score a KD or two to get a win on the cards against canelo

Canelo will make it interesting, but how can he make it "close", will he outbox GGG?

nah...GGG will smash this kid to bits.

hmmm...GGG wins by tko late in the 9th rnd. But he is an otherwise scenerio...Canelo winning rnds 1 & 2...GGG picking Canelo apart establishing the distance wining rnds 3,4,5 & 6. If Canelo can hang in there & if he's capable of hurting GGG, then I can see him pulling it off. and winning a dec by taking rnds...Only if he is able to hurt GGG.

GGG will knock him out I have absolutely no doubt in my mind, time for Canelo to stop hiding down in his non-existent weight class get your ass up to the full weight limit and don't hold the title hostage like Cotto do.

Easily, GGG is all wrong for Canelo...
              Low punch output
Tend to throw in single punches
Rarely throws combos but even when he does he's wide open for countering
His chin isn't all its made out to be
His footwork is god damn awful and slow

Canelo s just too young and sexy for the judges not to throw points at him if the fight is close.
