A drained Golovkin would get thoroughly out boxed. A healthy, full Golovkin stands a chance to possibly KO him. Especially at this stage of Mayweather's career. All fantasy at this point, not like it'll ever happen.

So according to your logic, nobody has ever been ready for Floyd, since he's never lost. And likewise, GGG has never lost, so no one has ever been ready for him. But answer me this. All of the fights in question have been against guys that would be solid underdogs against GGG. So according to your logic, Canelo has done nothing in terms of getting himself "ready" for GGG. So what's the point in the fight???

You mentioned Lara and Trout fights as a prove that Canelo was ready for Floyd. Then you admitted you didn't think he won those fights.

So if you wanna question somebody's logic, look in the mirror.

So if Canelo was to fight Golovkin and his biggest win to date prior that fight was a fight that he barely won (Trout) then I'd say he's not ready for Golovkin.

However, he's fought Trout, Lara, Floyd, Angulo and Cotto (his biggest win), not Trout only.

So, answering your question, he's ready for Golovkin more than he was for Floyd.

But, if he actually is ready, that remains to be seen.

I would side with Freddie on this, assuming that GGG would be fighting at 154 or even 156. GGG wouldn't have the speed or power to catch Floyd. It would be a much closer at 160. And I'd be more likely to bet on GGG knocking Floyd down before winning the fight.

Floyd would do to GGG what he did to Canelo, period. If GGG can beat Canelo then we can talk, but at that point Floyd will be too old to fight again.

I've never said Lara is his biggest win, I said it's Cotto and any boxing fan with brain will agree with that.

And feel free too search through my post history and find me saying Cotto was washed up when he fought Floyd. I said his win over Martinez was overrated (which it was.)
