Comments Thread For: Wilder Felt Some Disappointment When Klitschko Lost

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34KOs) was a little disappointed last month, when Tyson Fury stunned Wladimir Klitschko to capture the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO world titles.

Wilder, who returns on January 16th against Artur Szpilka at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, felt he was very close to landing a fight with Klitschko in 2016.

Aren't you already taking credit for Tyson fury's win?

Most people felt Wilder would be a bigger threat.

Also, guys like Wilder or Jushua would be better heirs to the throne.

what a turd! Of course you won't get as much credit....but that's your fault for not fighting for it first and winning it- no one elses. That's why if you want to make it big in the sport you need to challenge yourself and triumph against names, do not rest on your laurels and fight tomato cans

Klitschko is the second best heavyweight in the world and would still knock out Wilder.

              **** off Wilder.

Wilder wanted nothing to do with Wladimir Klitschko. "But I'm not ready for him doe"

This guy acts like he's some kind of warrior, yet tries to get corpses like Adamek out of retirement to fight. Fury is a real man, Wilder is a coward.

Fury beats both of them with relative ease. Even Joshua's biggest cheerleader in Eddie Hearn now says that he's not ready for Fury.
