Comments Thread For: Selby Brothers Targeting Big Fights in 2016

Manager Jamie Sanigar has provided Boxing Scene with an update on the Selby brothers, Lee and Andrew, as they look ahead to what is expected to be a very busy 2016.

The Bristol based manager is hoping to make some big fights for Lee, who holds the IBF featherweight title and was last in action defending his belt in Glendale, Arizona, unanimously outpointing Fernando Montiel in the first defence of his title. [Click Here To Read More]

Lee Selby looked nothing like a top notch fighter in his U.S. Debut. Hype is already dead for me.

That has got to be a miscommunication. No promoter could be that ****** - no point even thinking that far ahead in boxing. Maybe he means 3-4 years and Andrew will be fighting the big names. That needs clarification.

Lees needs to concentrate on making a name for himself in the USA where the money is. Andrew could well do with the experience of fighting on the undercards over there as well.
