If he is going to fight Chisora that cant be such a bad fight because have to remember Josh is still learning and early days. But shouldn't wait too long for this fight. Josh could fight him tomorrow and win even so soon after fighting Whyte.

But not sure he can give Josh the rounds he needs. Chisoras chin is wrecked.. Josh should purposely not try ko chisora if he fights him. Hughie Furie kind of does that to get some rounds in.

That is a very long gap. The guy can't afford to be taking 6 months off at this stage. Especially if he needs rounds and wants to work up to Wlad, Fury, Haye options. He won't fit them in at this pace.

Chisora is fighting every few weeks at the mo. He'll have had a few fights before he meets Joshua. What if one of those is a stock lowering loss or KO. AJ's waited so its a PPV only for that to be wasted too.

That's six months away! Tyson fought every two weeks when he was coming up.

I partially agree, but heavyweights do take a lot more time to develop. And Joshua could end up being one if he biggest stars in boxing, definitely the biggest in the U.K., they won't rush him.

Chisora is perfect for his next fight. A durable veteran of the sport who's been in with a who's who of the division. He should hang around to the middle rounds at least.

OK Chisora's unlikely to win but that's the point at this stage of AJ's career, it's all about improving, developing experience and exposure.

Plus Deontay's at 35 fights and only has 1 name better than Chisora on his resume. Not to mention being Tyson Fury's best win before the Klitschko fight.

He should fight Chisora in February and another step up in April. The only way they can justify one of the two fights being PPV is with a stacked card.

I'd rather see something like a Tony Thompson fight in March, get him in with an experienced southpaw. Then let him fight Chisora in June, after Del Boy has beaten a few mid tier Euro guys to drum up the interest a little more. Then if everything plays out right, potentially a Haye fight in the fall.
