The father/trainer of former five division world champion and newly crowned WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire said he was worried that when Nonito was pinned against the ropes by the bull-strong Cesar Juarez and “the guy might hit him with a good punch. like Juarez said he had more time to train and lil more experience he would have beat Nonitio and I believe it, yes he dropped juarez but never seriously hurt him and nonito was throwing everything he had at him.

I just find it hard after this performance to see nonito able to really get back to the level he was, he has a title now so hopefully he can defend it again.

I hope juarez get more fights on tv and put some W's together and we get the rematch in a year year and a half from now.

Donaire should put his missery away

Since the loss against Rigo, he is trying to be a Power puncher.He is a shadow of the old Donaire that used to be a Flash, with Lightning hooks and good footwork. I think He should retire or get a decent trainer that reminds him to move inside the ring.

Nonito needs a elite trainer he has to stop switching and ending back with his dad. He has to get back to old form jabbing way in combos if a ko came it came now he loads up single bombs and he used to move nice

Juarez was just tough and Donaire allowed him to throw and made it an entertaining fight by not clinching.

So Nonito was dominating b4 his ankle injury? And went toe to toe with a killer - Juarez is no walk in the park - 2 defeats by DQ and one decision loss by a point deduction - I love these armchair boxing fans.... Nonito couldn't get leverage on his punches because of his ankle, so he had to fight Juarez's fight and Won! Didn't he pick up a title? Right.....I think Donaire has a couple more good fights left in him - his father was his original trainer - when he beat Darchinyan and a couple more monsters, he will be fine. I give him 2 - 3 more fights - tops, his performance wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be - he was matched very tough, had adversity, and had to dig deep to finish, even tho he was Waaay ahead on the cards
