In Japan the most revered national heroes all killed themselves, committed seppuku. But there is nothing more honorable than dying in combat. Hell, even our military believes this.
To a lot of people, Roy is chasing the ultimate purity. I say let him go out how he wants to and even encourage him. He deserves that much. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
