Most traveller families have spent time on both sides of the Irish sea. It's not uncommon for travellers in Ireland to skip over to Manchester or London if a feud or the law is getting too hot at home - and vice versa. I've known travellers in the UK and Ireland and the ones in the UK are scarier. But they can be scary anywhere.
