Anthony Joshua produced a stunning seventh-round knockout of Dillian Whyte as he overcame his toughest challenge yet to seize the vacant British heavyweight title at The O2.

Joshua, who also retained his Commonwealth crown, ended a bad-tempered clash after one minute and 27 seconds, initially staggering his bitter rival with a straight right before finishing him off with a ferocious right uppercut.

He's a scary dude. I mean after a KO like that, the comments ran dry. Nobody willing to see their idol in with this guy? Benign neglect? Maybe if we ignore him he'll go away.

I heard Felix Verdejo was going after a championship in 2016. I would love to see Barosso vs Verdejo, but Verdejo is already fudging about the weight, so he's probably going after Pedraza at 130. Barosso vs Flanagan is good too, but Flanagan has him over a barrel. Flanagan is not going to Venezuela and nobody knows them in the US, so it might end up on a pier in Belfast. NOT Linares, they're both Venezuelans, let that simmer.
