Great fight! This kid is a KO waiting to happen. I would love to see him vs Broner.

It was a great fight. I thought that Figueroa would win easily but even with his usual amazing work rate (threw close to 1100 punches) found a though opponent in Demarco. I thought Demarco was done but I was wrong as he clearly showed that he still can hang around with the best because he keeps the old warrior attitude which also makes for very exciting fights.

I would love that fight too, but now i'm not sure if Figueroa can make 140 or 144. I think Broner is not going fight him @ 147. I would also love to see Figueroa vs. Porter @ 147! That would be a war!

Exactly my though when I saw it too.

DeMarco is still handy and could be a good contender but not at the weight he fought at last night. Why the **** was it inside LMW limit when both men are lightweights. Wouldn't be surprised to see either man as a Kell Brook challenger in the near future either.

fieguero's chin is absolutely f#cking ridiculous. he took scary punishment last night. that guy is going to ahve problems when his career is over. i hope i am wrong. he gets beat up virtually every time he fights. he can't win any other way.

Not a Brook fan, but if Brooke could weigh in at 151, he could beat both of them at the same time, lol!

Figgie was made to look average by DeMarco the weak

Figgie out of shape and throwing 1100 punches seemed to have little effect on the weak DeMarco the average slim mex. Disrespecting the weight clause showed Figgie to not have the heart of a champion. Figgie came into the ring flabby and soft with jelly rolls. Average boxer that Figgie is. Demarco is a weak warrior disgraced in another defeat and should retire again. Figgie must train with lazy Chris Aerrola.

Ha, Kev's response is the best response of them all.

I have no clue how that wound up as the title of the thread, since it's not at all the title of my fight report ("Omar Figueroa Outpoints Antonio DeMarco In A Thriller"). One of the many message board mysteries that will never get solved, I suppose.
