Joshua came out throwing some big shots and Whyte was weathering the early storm, trying to jab his way in to land something big. Joshua hurt Whyte with a big left and started shaking him up with big shots all over the ring.

Nice adjustment by Joshua. He looked shaky in the first few rounds. But he dug in deep, started committing to his jab and going to the body and broke Whyte down systematically. Good performance by him.

He's still a year away from challenging for the World title imo. But he needs more opponents like this.

It proves what most posters on here will repeatedly say, you can't grade a prospect until they start fighting actual elite level competition.

What an upercut to finish. However that fight showed Joshua can be hurt and that's gonna hurt him mentally and give confidence to his future opponents. He can't go in with that mentality in a championship fight. Once he calmed down, he was in full control and it was just a matter of time.

Joshua is dangerous for any heavyweight but he needs to stick with his jab if he wants to go far.

Joshua is still a prospect because he showed he has some vulnerabilities and really needs to work on some stuff in the gym when he finally does step up to elite level.
