1. Al Haymon [PBC/Haymon Sports Management]
2. Peter Nelson [HBO]
3. Adam Smith [Sky Sports, Boxing]
4. Stephen Espinoza(Les Moonves) [Showtime Sports, CBS EVP]
5. Eddie Hearn [Matchroom Sports]
{note: Eddie Hearn gets the 5th spot because Matchroom Sport is the exclusive rights holder for Sky Box Office, the content provider for nearly all of the boxing content presented by Sky Sports, has a partnership with German heavyweight promotional company Sauerlands, has an open working relationship with Al Haymon, and has one of the deepest talent rosters with any one company.}
Pete nelson is about to get canned he's done such an awful job
Nothing but mismatches at hbo
Eh. I think Nelson is looking at a HBO year similar to last year on HBO. Last year looked like dog**** til the 3rd quarter iirc & then came on strong with lotsa interesting &/or compelling fights.
I think this year is likely to end up the same with GGG vs Canelo being attempted to be lined up, Kovalev vs Ward being setup & maybe something interesting with Crawford or Ortiz being on the horizon sometime in 2016.
Regardless way to harsh to judge him this quickly. This is the same sorta **** guys have been doing with PBC since the week after their first show & they've been buried & pronounced dead about 20 times by some cats & they don't even got a year in the game yet.
