Lee and Chavez both looked the same size to me? Heck Lee even weighed 1/4 lb more the day before.

Well if we went by faces a lot of fights could be overturned. You can't really be suggesting Lee who is a natural 154 lbs fighter is the same size as Chavez the natural cruiser weight? Lee controlled the early rounds with good boxing, Jr tired him down around the middle rounds by using his size and weight whenever they were close. Once Lee was not moving as effectively, Chavez closed the distance and began working the body, Chavez didn't actually land many big shots to the head, a lot of the damage on Lee's face came from inside fighting, where glove sc****s are very common. GGG will try to assassinate Lee from the outside, GGG has very little inside game, so although I believe GGG takes Lee out with in 8, it is not going to look anything like the Chavez fight. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather see GGG Canelo, but I would like to see if Lee can land that devastating left hook, if only to see GGG's reaction.

im not saying he SHOULD do it or SHOULDNT do it. There are arguments to support either decision. As the mandatory challenger, he doesnt have to ********** himself down to a weight that is only designed to weaken him. At the same time, if he is comfortable and can make the weight with no ill effect, then fine.

But thats for his team to decide and negotiate. I sincerely doubt GBP went into the meeting saying "900k a-side doe". Canelo wants to keep the belt. GGG wants the fight. Im pretty confident a deal will be reached, and whether thats at 155, or 157, or 160, thats their business.......

I never said Lee won the fight, maybe reading comprehension is not your thing. Either way Lee was not destroyed, Paul Williams getting taken out cold in the 2nd round is destroyed, everything that happens in the ring is relevent, not just the ending. Simpleton way of thinking really. It also doesn't change the fact that comparing Chavez Jr and GGG is just rediculous. Chavez defeated Lee because Chavez was bigger, GGG will defeat Lee, because GGG is more skilled, thats a big difference.

Who's counting another man's money? I understand boxing politics. And according to those politics, Triple B1tch had ZERO leverage in negotiations against Canelo. And the lone "bargaining chip" he has, the WBC mandatory position, isn't nearly as important a chip as you and your 96,999 dumbass friends think it is.

Boxing is in such great shape as a sport that the last thing it needs is a fighter who is humble and respectful of his fans and other fighters, exciting in the ring and hard working outside the ring. We just don't need a guy who could convince more casual fans to cross over and watch more fights thereby benefiting the sport and hence all fighters.

Given what a catastrophe the emergence of a fighter like that it makes total sense that we should all pile on and hate on GGG. You'd have to be a raving dumbass to like the guy and enjoy watching his fights and reckon that ordinary people enjoy watching him, right?

I've been watching boxing for a long time. My grandfather was a boxer. I remember when fighters who contributed to the growth of the sport were respected, even if you preferred their rivals. What have we sunk to?

Ironically, most of y'all discredited, and continue to discredit Floyd's win over Canelo. Yet now, y'all would consider him a great win for GGG. Guess he didn't have his man stregnth back then.

Or maybe it had something to do with Floyd shooting himself in the foot while trying to discredit Manny's win over Miguel by taking about 154 being his healthy weight. And a year later draining Canelo to 152lbs. What happen to healthy weight then.

every fighters comes to a crossroad in their career where they must bow to further their own career this is that point for lil G will he dare to be great and take the fight or is he happy being mediocre winning mediocre fights?
