After the fight I went to take a piss and most people were talking about how the scores where a little too wide. I think it was 116-110 for two judges and 117-109 all for Nonito.

When Juarez went to get some feedback from the crowd it was mostly applauses.
Juarez deserved applause but I hope you are not implying the decision was wrong coz anyone who thinks nonto lst this fight is a certified dumbass

fight was way too easy to score

Oh, great, this is very good, Cesar deserve it, and more because in Mexico there is not support for the fighters, and less for humble guys like him.

This fight was not televised here in Mexico.

Yeah, this is correct. Donaire won clearly in a war, yeah, that was a great fight for Juarez, but Donaire won.

Yes I agree. Nonito won clearly especially with the knockdowns.

But I think part of that extra-love for Juarez from the crowd was due to the scoring, which was a little to wide.

What happened with scores reflecting the actual fight and not some agenda$ due to [i]who[/] is fighting..? Nowadays you get close fights scored as shout-outs, split or majority decisions out of nowhere on fights that aren't even close.. how come its not a big issue in boxing?

Besides the 7th and 10th i see no rounds to give him maybe 11th too.

I had it 115-113 Donaire, he pretty much threw away a commanding lead. That Juarez is one tough SOB though! He deserves all the credit for not folding and taking it to Donaire, clawing back a huge deficit to make it close. A contender for FOTY. BWAA might want to move their deciding nominations a week forward next time.

Juarez is pretty crude but with that motor he's going to be in a lot of fights he has wins over JC Sanchez and Cesar Seda

Donaire looked good early but when he couldn't get the stoppage he wore down , which was always the case with him he's kind of a frontrunner if he doesn't splash you out early he's not as active later on

I expect this to be the norm for ND from now on high contact fights , matchmaking will be very interesting
