He asked for a fight with Rios, and Rios claimed he wanted to fight at 147. Provo having just won the title at 140 wanted to defend the title at 140, and told Rios fight him at 140. Crickets. So when he doesn't hear from Rios, he signs with Algieri who said he'd fight for the belt at 140. AS SOON as that fight was signed and a done deal, is when Rios does his rant & rage that "he could have fought Provo at 140 no problem!!! WTF! I'll fight Provo at 140 or 147, he's ducking me!!!"

Rios is tough, gritty, Gatti like fighter. Provo vs Rios would be a damn good fight. His last fight versus Bradley he looked terrible you won't get any argument from me. But I think he was out of shape and his heart wasn't in it.

But if you get a 100% dedicated in shape Rios you get a good fight no matter who the opponent is. I just hope that if he fights Provo he needs to be 100% both mentally and physically.
