Rios is one of my favorite fighters, and it's painful to say this but if he is serious he probably shouldn't be training at GBA. Robert himself said part of why he brought Ariza in was because Ariza could tell Brandon to do something and he'd do it, while if he himself had asked him, Brandon would have laughed and said 'fuck no.'
But I know Robert is the reason Brandon has a boxing career at all and there's no way Brandon would ever leave. And you've got to respect that loyalty. Robert should look for some hard ass conditioning coach that is going to break Brandon's balls every day if Brandon's going to get in the ring with Provodnikov.

He won't have power at 154. His body is likely to big for 147 they talking 50 plus pounds he had to shed in training camp. And we just saw Bradley who didn't have much power at 140 even less at 147 ko him. What will guys at 154 do to a little and shot Rios. Rios has 2 problems.
1. He's always been a large guy with bad habbits who has to shed a ton of weight. BUT as you get older it becomes harder and harder. Hell as teenager and in his early 20s he had major problems missing weight for fights. They have maxed out his size and increased his tiny frame to 147 and he still killing himself he missed 147 his first try for the Bradley fight.
2. Despite the weight issues his entire career nobody questioned his heart and fire. That has now been gone the last few fights where he can't pull the trigger anymore. He cried his last fight and made many comments about him not having will anymore. That's a major red flag and you add the weight problem dude is just shot. He is nothing more then a punching bag and he has a strong chin woth no defense so he absorbs a lot of flush abuse. His family and friends need to save him from himself before he gets hurt.Comment
