    100% correct.

Even Rhonda Rousey looks decent on the mitts.

Well one vid is old footage the other is pad work...regardless I see a guy who cant throw proper punches with snap...this will end in 3 rnds if that's the case..Pad work is form really ...ive seen vids on this guy and hes still amateur level....he has real no power and compared to Joshua hes levels below..i guess I only picked up on this with a few others ...I cant imagine why?

Whyte wins if Joshua forgets his brain in the dressing room!

He's decent enough. Can look clumsy and unorganised but has a loose style and can throw with power (injuries not withstanding).

I think Josh beats him comfortably, but still reckon Whyte can have a good career if he keeps working with Banks.

First if all the only thing making this competitive is the fact Joshua is 1 or 2 weight classes bigger..

I understand exactly what you mean..The jab or right hand doesn't come up high enough and cover his chin ...He doesn't turn over his hooks and engage the elbow...He doesn't have the footwork for a guy of his athleticism...His punches are Lazy..All signs of a terrible trainer which makes sense as his background is kickboxing...Feel bad for the guy tbh , I at least would risk an ass whooping to tell him his technique is terrible...He could be so much more

That's why I never understood the hate for Canelo's trainers....He throws picture perfect punchers

This situation plays out all the time in boxing ...The more skilled guy (Whyte) against the more skilled puncher(Joshua) Usually the skilled guy wins until the punching shines through but of course anything can happen...

Still I just have a feeling in my bones I'll be seeing Joshua staring up at the ceiling with a very Amir Khan look on his face...

Just to let people know, I think this is the first training camp with Jonathan Banks. So maybe they didn't have that understanding. Padwork is not easy with new people

That's AJ's 3rd amateur bout and Whytes first boxing. Although he had Kickboxing experience at a high level.

AJ also had leg tag (crime) so couldn't train after 7.30 PM

I'd agree with the comments about his overall punching technique not being on point but I wouldn't expect that session to look explosive. Admittedly I didn't sit through the whole thing but of the section I watched for the most part they seemed to be working on stopping Joshua from coming in behind the jab by catching and shooting and using enough movement to step in themselves and throw fast nullifying punches to stem his advance, unbalance him and set him up for the ol' one-two as they say. They would have broken that down into sections. It looks like they were working on nullifying and getting into position. The one-two where they'll be looking to do their own damage was thrown as a token gesture that will be work on after they've happy with the initial part of the manoeuvre.
