I usually give athletes the benefit of the doubt, but it's hard to do that looking at Joshua.
Olympic testing is meaningless, look at what the Russian federation got away with for years.
Even now with the more recent changes like the introduction of the Athlete Biological Passport testing is more of a publicity sham than anything. Only around 1-2% of athletes fail drugs tests whereas in anonymous athlete surveys as many as 49% admit to juicing.
Unlike when the Russians and Americans were industrial dosing to outdo each other on tracks and fields athletes now microdose. They get most of the benefits coupled with a seriously reduced chance of detection. Plus if we look at something like testosterone, its now taken in a plant based form as a gel or patch so it bypass' the liver and intestinal tract leaving a much smaller footprint for testers to pick up on.
Those testing are implicated in this as well. The main test that is initially done for detecting abnormal amounts of testosterone is a T/E test. With microdosing the compounds are out of the system so fast that the detection period for the above test is ineffective (my memory fails me but it might be as little as four hours which is why Floyd making testers that turned up at his home wait around for about that time before taking a piss was highly su****ious). In the unlikely event that this test throws up any suspision is the more thorough CIR test done.
There a loads of ways around the testers. Microdosing with EPO whilst training at attitude makes throws up difficult to interpret results. The growth hormone IGF1 isn't dectable at all by the tests that the likes of Wada use. It can be taken on the day of competition.
Microdosing is perfect for enabling athletes to recover from grueling workouts quicker without their drug use being detected. It means that they can fit in extra training sessions compared to those who don't juice. Over the coarse of a training camp that makes all the difference.

He could be a genetic freak and he could work really hard at his physique.
I wouldn't put it past him though because he has big time backing and the rewards if he makes it are enormous.
I think he is too body builder like though, that just never seems to work out very well for a fighter. He is certainly still lean, but I think he would be better off with less muscle mass. If I see him fight at a super high pace for 12 whole rounds, with that kind of physique I would say that is unnatural but I haven't seen his gas tank to judge that.
Jousha has put on about 25 pounds of lean muscle within 2 years...
This guy comes from a bodybuilding background, and use to sell drugs including roids, so he's no stranger to cycling.
Anyone knows putting on that much muscle naturally is impossible, and especially when someone has a long history of training, gains slow down over time
I wish people would stop saying Joshua has a 'GH gut'. GH gut's what professional bodybuilders get in their 40s after a lifetime of insulin and HGH abuse. It's incredibly noticeable. Josha just has very well developed abs.
I'm not saying he's a clean athlete, but his gut isn't one of the telltale signs by a long shot. Try his freakishly ripped physique and insane levels of lean muscle mass for starters.
