Pac v Bradley off. Team Pacquiao in official negotiations with Team Khan.

Khan's lawyer Robert Davis will fly out to Nevada on Sunday, in order to iron out a deal between Pacquiao & Khan. A Pacquiao v Khan announcement could come out towards the end of next week.

I am told that Team Khan verbally agreed to a purse of $4 Million Dollars over the phone, and the only thing to really negotiate now is how the UK PPV money will be distributed.

Bradley was initially the chosen opponent, but that was called off due to a lack of public demand, and ridicule from boxing writers across the globe. Crawford's name was only added to what now could be termed as the 'Pacquiao Sweepstakes', in a bid to raise the stock of the Omahan who is expected to fight Lucas Matthyse in hometown early next year.

I saw on ESPN that Manny cancelled announcing his opponent tomorrow on the TR TV show. If this means no Bradley v Manny 3 then that is a good thing.

Manny has earned the right to fight whomever he chooses. My guess is TR realized a 3rd Bradley fight would not make enough for Manny to get the $20 mil +payday he expects.

Two days ago you said Mayweather advised Pacquiao to pass on Bradley & Khan.

It was Khan & Crawford. Manny is in a situation where he doesn't have a foe to tango with, that satisfies his purse requirements, and satisfies both HBO and the Filipino TV Networks.

Manny cannot fight any fighter signed to Al Haymon, which leaves him with Khan.

September 2016 - I will bump this thread, once Pacquiao wins a controversial decision over Khan in April, and calls out Floyd Mayweather. You will then see MayPac 2, in the works. Expect Pacquiao to get a smaller split of the overall purse this time, with Bob Arum out of the picture and HBO as the sole PPV outlet.
