Sky Sports Panel Predictions
Jim Watt
It's about Eubank Jr boxing his own fight. It's a great match and worthy of headlining a bill. You would want to go and see this one. I just think the boxing skills of Eubank Jr will tell. O'Sullivan is powerful and anything could happen but I just think that the better all-round skill set belongs to Eubank Jr and will see him through.
Spike is tough and will be dishing out his own stuff so it will go the distance but Eubank Jr will take it on points.
Callum Smith
Eubank Jr can fight - you can't deny that, but when they say they are going to beat Gennady Golovkin it seems they've forgotten he lost to Billy Joe Saunders last year. I like O'Sullivan but he lost to Saunders a bit more emphatically and this is a step up again for him.
You have to side with Eubank Jr and it'll be on points.
Dave Coldwell
I'm looking forward to this one. Spike can punch, he's very strong and he has got all the 'minerals' in the world but technically he isn't 100 per cent. He isn't going to be slick and move like Sugar Ray Leonard.
Spike is going to be aggressive, wear his heart on his sleeve and give it his all but that is going to leave him out of gas. Now Eubank is working with Adam Booth - and that was the best thing he could have done - he will take O'Sullivan apart. I'm going for the middle rounds for Eubank.
Johnny Nelson
If he listens and stays on the same track, Eubank Jr will do very well in regard to how far he goes.
Billy Joe Saunders technically outsmarted him, so we're going to find out if he has learned his lesson. That is the test I want to see. If he hasn't learned from his mistakes, then that is where his progression halts. When he gets frustrated, bored and stumped mid-fight, he cannot switch off. He has got to use what he has learned.
I think it's going to be a close, hard points win for Eubank Jr. Without a doubt, we'll see a bit of drama and maybe even both men hurt along the way.
Luke Campbell
I've not seen that much of O'Sullivan. I saw one of his fights and it's obvious he can punch. I saw Eubank Jr in with Billy Joe and he started very slowly and now he is in against a puncher. I've also seen him in with journeymen who don't do much. It's a really interesting one because Eubank Jr clearly has skills, speed and power.
It's hard to call but from what I've seen, I think Eubank Jr is the superior boxer and will win on points.
Carl Froch
You've got to give Spike a chance, simply because he's in a fight like this and we all know he can punch. Spike is going to give Eubank a decent fight while it lasts but I know Eubank Jr is a classy operator and he has the mental strength to get through whatever comes his way.
They both lost to Billy Joe Saunders which sort of evens it out a bit but I can't look beyond Eubank winning this. It could well go all the way with him winning quite comfortably on points but I think Eubank Jr might manage to get the stoppage in those late rounds.
Glenn McCrory
It's a fight that Eubank Jr didn't need to take and I think Spike is going to tear up the script! He is going to bash Eubank Jr up. O'Sullivan will do a Steve Collins on Eubank Jr and even though he didn't say much in 'The Gloves Are Off', he'd already bagged the fight so the pressure was off. All he wanted was the opportunity.
O'Sullivan will win on points. He'll give Eubank Jr a bit of an awakening.
Anthony Crolla
What a fight! It's so difficult to decide. This is a fight that Spike has been working for for such a long time. He believes he will have his number but I think Eubank Jr is very underrated. He's a very good fighter - strong with a great chin like his father. He has also got fast hands and is powerful.
It'll be an entertaining fight to watch. I'll go with Eubank Jr on points because he gave Saunders a harder time than Spike did, but I like both guys.
Jamie Moore
Eubank Jr has made the right move in bringing Adam Booth on board because Adam is a great trainer and a very good tactician. Eubank Jr has pretty much been left to his own devices and has done what he wants, but he's a terrific talent and if he is guided in the right way, he can go all the way.
Spike O'Sullivan has developed into a good fighter, but I don't know whether he has got quite enough strings to his bow to cause Eubank Jr enough problems. Eubank Jr will win a clear points decision, but all the rounds should be competitive and it will be a great fight for the fans.
James DeGale
I've heard O'Sullivan can fight. I haven't seen too much of him but Billy Joe Saunders says he spars hard and spars well. I suppose the favourite is Eubank Jr but it wouldn't surprise me if O'Sullivan knocks him out. I sparred Eubank Jr and I played with him and then he went and told everyone he schooled me! It was the most ****** thing I had heard in my life.
I think you have to make him favourite for this one though, so I'll go with Eubank Jr on points.
Paul Smith
This is one that we could see Eubank Jr really being tested. Spike is a massive puncher and although he is not at the same skill level, if he catches him on the chin, we will find out more about Eubank Jr. It'll be interesting to see how he reacts to that. But Eubank Jr will be under orders from Adam Booth and I can't see him going out and meeting him head-on.
Spike will try and utilise his best asset, that power, but Eubank is a great talent, with good, fast hands, who is very good inside. Booth should have him boxing at range and on the back foot. I have a feeling he is going to have to go through some sticky moments, but I am going for Eubank on points.
Darren Barker
I'm not a Eubank Jr fan, but reluctantly I'll go for him. He is smart enough to keep his mouth shut - but the dad as well? I am not a fan. The one thing I will say is Chris Eubank Jr is a good fighter. So is Spike O'Sullivan but if you look at their fights against Billy Joe Saunders, he was beaten quite comfortably but it was close with Eubank Jr.
I do think Sullivan will go the 12 rounds but Eubank Jr will win by a handful of rounds. It will be entertaining though... in the ring at least!
