Basically what I was about to say. I think it's an alright matchup. Could be an exciting fight.

Didn't lazy Chavez Jr. KO weak Andy irish potato Lee?

Andy lee got stopped by Chavez jr by KO. Andy lee might be a willing fighter but has average skills and that's about it. Give Weak lee credit for calling out little g though as it is rare a top fighter actually begs to be KO'd. But again the Irish aren't known for their intelligence just their drinking and brawling and submitting to the British soldiers siring all of Ireland the past 60 years or so.

lee is way too slow and easy to hit. there is no way he finishes the fight. he'd go to war with the padding in golovkin's gloves and lose

            Same diiicks

The same diiicks who claim Andy Lee wouldn't be a good win for GGG, are the same ones who claim Jacobs best an very good Quillin.

            The ****?

I'd love this fight, lee doesn't go down easy, and he comes to fight. Has shown steady improvement year after year too.

And don't even bring that Chavez fight up, Chavez was on some super ****, dude straight up ran from the athletic commission. I've never seen anyone take Lees cross like that.

More balls than Canelo lol. SMFH. Funny thing is, Andy knocks Canelo out cold.

He'd be a decent win. No better or worse than all the other recent top wins on his resume. That's just the honest truth. Who cares about the rest.

I'm keen to see how Lee's upcoming fight with Saunders pans out. It's a step up onto a bigger stage for Saunders who is sharp, brings speed and has all that intensity of youth; whereas Lee may be downplayed by some as unspectacular or hardly stellar, but he undoubtedly has a wealth of experience, serious punch power and the ability to deliver that power, he keeps his head and has, in the ring, been in pretty much every situation imaginable.
His upcoming fight aside, I think he would be considered a worthy opponent for Golovkin. I don't believe he would be overawed going in and he would definitely show up on fight night. Sure GGG seems a destroyer and I'd favour him to win, but Golovkin would be well aware Lee carries KO power and I'd like to see his approach to dealing with someone like Andy Lee. I'd pick Lee to beat Lemieux, so, sorry if Lee doesn't have a glamourous enough style for some here, but I'd gladly watch GGG vs Lee.

It would be a war he'd lose for sure.
