Come on, that's clearly intended to happen. You see him throw the exact same punch at the same slowed-down speed over and over in order to prepare the actor to step into it and do the shot. Not saying the actor didn't do a commendable job of selling it and taking the fall...he definitely did. But don't be gullible enough to think that he really got KO'd there.Comment

He talked about it on the Bill Simmons podcast. He really took the shot, said he was dazed and seeing stars. He didn't get KO'ed. He said Bellew hit him high and not on the chin so he didn't get KTFO. He said they tried filming it without actually taking the punch and Stallone said " you gotta take the shot kid, you gotta take the shot" and the studio couldn't actually ask him to take it because of insurance liability so he had to volunteer to do it.Comment

Stallone said the punch was rehearsed over and over but Jordan wasn't meant to get KO'd, but in that scene Jordan was out cold from Stallones mouth. Apparently after waking up Jordan said it was his "introduction to the Rocky universe" or something to that effect.Come on, that's clearly intended to happen.
