2nd half of the fight was much better than the 1st especially the last 3rd. Demarco took way too long to put his foot on the gas. He seemed to have the better quality shots but Figueroa just simply outworked him. Figueroa better not fight any higher than 140. That offense is your best defense crap will get him KO'D by a skilled vet with power. He's a brutal KO waiting to happen. Good freakin' fight.

Figueroa gives off the impression that he doesn't have the dedication/discipline necessary to go any further. Yes, he leaves it all in the ring and is entertaining, but he hasn't been coming in prepared and he isn't developing his skillset either. He fought two past prime opponents (Burns, DeMarco) and went life and death with them. He's essentially another Chavez Jr.

If he could get down to 140 properly he can hang with anyone there. Personally I'd rather see him at 147 fighting the Porter's, Guerrero's, and Peterson's of the world.

I think he needs to be transforming that body way too much undefined muscle fibers on his body, should be ripped and consequently if he was ripped he will be at 140 easy.

Omar Figueroa Jr, in all honesty, isn't all that good of a fighter but the fact that he throws so many punches, and he's coming into any fight with arguably the sturdiest chin of any fighter 140 and under makes him a dangerous fight for any fighter's manager to book.

Terrence Crawford, on skills alone, likely smokes Figueroa Jr; I'm just not sure if he'll be able to keep him off enough to comfortably secure 7 out of 12 rounds on two of three scorecards.

that's largely why I wouldn't see Broner giving him a shot.

Funny thing about this card is everybody hated on it and it ended up being way better than the UFC card lol.

Figueroa fights straight up bore me at this point. It's just a really long drunken brawl where neither guy can knock out the other.

                      Dude just isn't very good.
