Felix Verdejo is barely three years into his pro career yet is already drawing consideration for a title shot in the near future.

For now, the 22-year old lightweight just needs his hands to remain healthy long enough to get through his next fight. He returns following a six-month absence due to extended rehabilitation to a badly damaged as he faces Brazil’s Josenilson dos Santos at Coliseo Roberto Clemente in his hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Yeah, ALL FIGHTERS are "bracing for world title runs". What's the point of this article? Why do we care about this random dude ranked at #54?

Oh that's right, he's Puerto Rican. Writers know PR fight fans are delusional and pathetic in their praise/allegiance to anything PR related lol. Got it

At 130, Saul Rodriguez murks this guy in dos rounds. Vargas beats him in seis rds. Salido TKO's him in ocho with a body shot, and I think Roman Martinez even outhustles him for a 12rd UD. Verdejo looked OK against a 5'5" Najera that lunges and reaches but he was still getting hit. If this guys wants a furture in boxing, he needs to wait til he gets his man strength before he calls out the champs.

look at these cute messicans flying high off that canelo dub.

          it's ***n adorable.

verdejo is the truth and i'll bet good money that he won't be losing to saul in the future, he has nothing for verdejo outside of just a stiff challenge.

saul can crack with both hands. it'll be a good little test for felix but that gargantuan sized head of his will be too much of a target for a guy 2x's faster and equally if not stronger than him.
