Have to bear in mind that much like the boxers in old-timey videos, these guys don't wear large gloves that cover most of the head area and cushion blows. So a hands-up defence isn't as valuable as it is in boxing.

But yes, most of them are crap boxers and would get smashed against solid domestic level fighters.
