PBC must be putting it together since its mostly PBC guys that are ranked by the WBC (or last I looked that was the case) + cuz its like a f#cking mystery tournament with only 2 guys known to be in it so far.
F#ck maybe thats the tournament lol. Winner is the champ.
I definitely feel like its gonna be some no names or has beens or on the way down type mfers in it otherwise Garcia wouldn't be in it. Guessing someone like Berto (or some other name, but downside type guy) will be the guy Garcia will end up fighting in the finals.

I don't think WBC understood what they were doing when they agreed to do VADA.

But that still doesn't change the fact Haymon doesn't allow VADA. It really shows how disfunctional this sport is where WBC is buddy buddy with Haymon, and they didn't realize doing VADA is his biggest fear.
It's going to be interesting to find out what kind of excuse WBC has for dumping VADA.

If those guys in the WBC ranking are saying no to VADA testing then just make a new ranking and get some fighters that want to be part of this tournament
Official fighters so far
#2 Danny Garcia and #6 Robert Guerrero
#19 Cesar Barrionuevo vs #29 Azael Casio

That wouldn't be hard for the WBC. Who pays for the drug testing? I read somewhere that the fighters do, comes off their purses. Fighters can legally refuse paying for that, since the whole basis of this VADA organization as well as USADA is VOLUNTARY, when it comes to boxing. If fighters don't voluntarily agree to it, they can't be forced.
Only the governing state or provincial athletic commissions can (and do) mandate their own tests.
WBC can't mandate **** in terms of drug testing, it can only withhold its title. I don't give a *** about any of these corrupt titles.
