in terms of whooping Mexican fighters a $$!

I just don't see no mexican fighter from 130-147 beating Verdejo in the next 10 years....maybe he's the next TITO

At his current pace he might be the next Miguel Cotto.

Which IIRC, you said was a top 5 or 10 ATG so I guess Verdejo is in good shape to be one of the best of all time.

Every fighter beats weak black fighters, mexican fighters, puerto Rican fighters, filipino fighters that wont make them any kind of killer.

When he faces top mexicans then we can talk.

But everyone wants to be a "mexican killer " cuz mexicans are so respected.

No, he'll be better than Cotto was IMO. His potential seems higher than Cotto's was at this point in his career. Just hope TR doesn't screw up with him.

          - Agreed, so far he looks good, power in both hands, reminds me of a mix between Gomez/Trinidad. But he has yet to be tested. So far he looks like he has the goods to be great.

This is true. Anybody can beat weak competition no matter what the race or nationality is. If the opponent is weak your chances of winning are great.

Juanma Lopez tought the same crap. He beat a few mex cab drivers, and when he faced Salido, he got whooped twice in his own backyard. After the hand wrap controversy, Tito's power was gone... Good try.

He reminds me more of Mayweather to be honest.

He's gonna have to get a little stronger though, should be no problem as he transitions more into a man.

Mikey Garcia schools him and reminds him Mexico will always rule PR.
