I'm afraid Szpilka is a bit of a tailor-made victim for Wilder. I hope it's not true, though.

Don't be afraid, that's a good thing!! I hope Szpilka pulls this upset, I've been following his career for almost a decade now. I was shocked to see this fight come up. His defense was **** years ago but hopefully Ronnie Shields has been putting in the work with him for major improvement. I saw sparks of good Szpilka vs Adamek. Wilder is untested so far in his career so this could be a really fun bout.

By the way, what the F is Wilder talking about that Szpilka's got no heart?? Did he watch any of the Szpilka vs Mollo fights?? Szpilka got downed first in both fights, get's back up immediately and KO's Mollo in electrifying fashion! Same thing could happen here folks.

huh, yeah that's untrue. If anything, Szpilka's got heart ... I was referring to his defense as you mention, and his suspect chin ... and he's really outsized too much by Wilder.

Well, he did seem to "just want to done with it" in the Jennings fight.

He said Jennings felt too strong for him. Had a bunch of excuses for that though.

Hopefully he gets his azz over to the states early enough to train properly this time.

He's living in Houston now training with Ronnie everyday for about a year now so he's got the proper training in now. Ronnie is also teaching him new tricks. One thing I'm concerned about is the last fight Szpilka had he won in I think the 2nd round without breaking a sweat.

              PS

With the Jennings bout, he arrived a week before the fight and they turned him down in Chicago due to some visa problems. He had to fly back to Poland, straighten things out, and came back a day or two before his fight... That can't help...but no excuses, Jennings was a man in that ring, Szpilka didn't look close.
